Bio


Alicia Cobb lived in Southern California until moving with her family to Sparks, NV as a teenager in 1988. She began her first art instruction at Reed High School, Sparks, NV and continued with drawing, painting and graphic design classes at Truckee Meadows Community College, Reno, NV, where she earned her Associates in General Studies degree in 2000. In addition she attended classes through the Nevada Museum of Art School.  She has shown and sold her work through the Sierra Arts Foundation, VSA Nevada, NV Artists Association and the Sierra Watercolor.  She has taught children’s watercolor classes for VSA Nevada, the Nevada Museum of Art, and with the Sierra Watercolor Society's Art Angel Program.  She works in a variety of styles and media including watercolor, oil, and acrylic painting, mixed media, collage, clay, pastel, graphite and charcoal pencil drawing.
